Heritage area welcomes visitors

It is a weeklong visit for our National Heritage Area for people from the other 61 areas in the United States.

The guests of the Alliance of National Heritage Areas ANHA are visiting Niagara County this week. Sara Capen of the Niagara National Heritage Area is chairperson of the organization.

The guests visited Lockport Monday and Niagara Falls Tuesday, splitting in four groups to see the Flight of Five, Fort Niagara and other important sites via Discover Niagara Shuttles.

Heritage Areas connect people to places. We know Niagara. We might not know Cache le Poudre in Indiana anymore than Down East Maine or Essex in Massachusetts.
