SHOPLIFTING: Police were called to Target on Niagara Falls Boulvard at 5:18 p.m. Friday when a Packard Court resident tried to leave without paying for two cases of Red Bull valued at

$45.18. She was charged with petit larceny.

HARASSMENT: Police went to Sterling Inn, 9001 Niagara Falls Boulevard after repeatedly receiving hang up calls from 911 at about 8:50 p.m. Friday. A Buffalo man met police in the parking lot and told them he and his girl were arguing and he just wanted his keys so he could leave. At that moment, the door to the room opened and the suspect’s demeanor immediately changed. The female inside would not give her name. She said she and the suspect went to dinner at Wendy’s and he started “bugging.” The man became irrational and aggressive toward police for no apparent reason. Officers pointed a Taser at him and ordered him to calm down. He complied but was taken into custody and charged with harassment.

HOMELESS TROUBLE: A homeless man visited Seneca One Stop and harassed customers and staff early Saturday afternoon. He made no purchase, demanded to see security cameras, complained about vagrants and refused to leave. He was charged with trespassing.

SHOPLIFTING: Asset protection personnel at Target observed a female concealing items in a reusable shopping bag at about 6:50 p.m. Saturday. She was charged with petit larceny and trespassed from the store. The stolen apparel was valued at $50.

NO INSURANCE: Police on patrol at 6:46 p.m. Monday were alerted to a vehicle without insurance and took a man driving on Niagara Falls Boulevard into custody on charges of no insurance and driving with a suspended registration.

BAD THINGS AT 2 a.m.: Police were called to the vicinity of Foley’s Bar on Buffalo Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run. A victim was down in the street with heart and long injuries and multiple rib fractures and internal other injuries all diagnosed after transport to ECMC. The victim at the scene appeared intoxicated and would not cooperate with police. Before transport, his injuries were not apparent. The suspects had been asked to leave the bar for being drunk and inappropriate with female patrons. The victim has been engaging with the suspects outside the bar through an open vehicle window. A witness told police he knew the suspects from working on the Amazon site. Police will be furthering the investigation, including gathering video from a nearby business.
