TRISCUITS FOR EVERYONE?: No, not really. Police were called to the Nabisco building on Buffalo Avenue at about 7:01 p.m. Wednesday for a report of motion alarm triggered by intruders. Responding officers heard voices within and took a West Avenue, Buffalo man and a juvenile were taken into custody. Charges listed on the report included criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, possession of burglar tools, obstructing governmental administration, burglary and criminal mischief.

MINI BIKES DON’T BELONG ON THE ROAD: Police on patrol on Portage Road at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when an officer observed an Elmwood Avenue resident operating a mini bike on Ashland Avenue. The suspect, an Elmwood Avenue resident, was stopped by police at Tops Market and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, no insurance, operating an ATV on a public highway and operating an unregistered vehicle.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE: At 4:34 a.m. Wednesday, police observed a vehicle leave a lot at 15th and Pine without signaling. The vehicle then turned on 15th without signaling. The driver had only a non-driver ID. He was charged with failure to signal and operating without a license.

SHOPLIFTING: Polite were called to Target at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday for a shoplifter in custody. The suspect, a Creek Road Lewiston resident, failed to scan items valued at $29 while at the self-checkout.

ATV BUSTED: Officers on patrol at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of 20th Street observed a Grand Avenue man operating an ATV in the roadway and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver drove away and attempted to evade police. The suspect fled all the way to his residence where police took him into custody and ordered the vehicle towed. He had multiple scoff and was charged with no insurance, no registration, operating an ATV on a public road, no lights, reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, operating with 3 or more suspension, fleeing a police officer and operating motorcycles and ATVs not street legal.
