PAY FOR YOUR FLOWERS: Valentine’s Day ended badly for at 9:11 p.m. Friday for a 30th Street man who was nabbed exiting Walmart without paying for a bouquet of flowers. He was charged with petit larceny.
PARTY: Police were called for 22nd and LaSalle at 2:06 a.m. Saturday for a large and unruly gathering at a home there. While attempting to disperse crowds, a Buffalo man became aggressive toward police and threatened to fight with officers. He was taken to the ground, handcuffed and charged with disorderly conduct.
NOT HELP: At about 2 a.m., Saturday, a woman reported her vehicle got stuck in the snow on 17th Street. A man helped her get it free but then stole it. A short time later, police located the stolen vehicle at the Coastal Station at 19th and Walnut. The man, a resident of 17th Street, was taken into custody on charges of grand larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property.
