LOVE QUARREL: Two women engaged in a dispute over a man had a nasty incident at Wrobel Towers at about 2:48 p.m. Friday. One stepped off the elevator and told police she was stabbed by her rival so she responded with mace. The woman who suffered knife wounds was overheard at police headquarters saying she stabbed her rival in self defense. The woman who did the stabbing was charged with assault 2nd.

NOISE COMPLAINT: At 5:15 a.m. Saturday, police issued a violation notice following a noise complaint at 433 22nd St. where there has been an ongoing issue.

NEIGHBOR DISPUTE: Police were called to Kies and 62nd Streets for a report of a neighbor dispute. A man upset his window was shot with a BB confronted his neighbor in a garden shed at about 10:05 a.m. Saturday and allegedly punched him in the face repeatedly, knocking out a tooth and causing swelling. The assailant was taken into custody on a charge of assault.

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: Police charged a Marine Memorial Drive resident with reckless endangerment after he attempted to kick out the divider window in a patrol vehicle at about 4:54 p.m. Saturday while in custody.

WARRANT: Police responded to a loud music complaint at about 7:23 p.m. Saturday at a Cayuga Drive address. The suspect was recognized by police as wanted on outstanding warrants and attempted to flee from police. He was captured after a short pursuit and charged with resisting arrest in addition to being taken in on the outstanding warrants.

CAMERA HIT: Officers responded to a Garden Avenue address after a police camera captured an image of a stolen vehicle at about 9:30 Saturday. A man was passed out in the vehicle. Two more were on the porch of a nearby residence and appeared intoxicated with either alcohol or narcotics. On suspect, believed to be the driver, denied his role but did have the keys in his pocket. Another suspect was known to be wanted on a warrant out of Cheektowaga. All 3 suspects were taken into custody on charges of criminal possession of stolen property.

BURGLAR TOOLS: Police on patrol about 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of 19th Street saw a suspect known to be wanted on a warrant and took him into custody. There have been a large number of larcenies from vehicles in the vicinity of the stop. At the police station, officers checked the suspect’s bag and found two screwdrivers and a mallet. In addition to the warrants, the suspect was charged with criminal possession of burglar tools.
