Oakwood Cemetery is the most underrated historically significant place in Niagara Falls.
Each year in October, sometime around Halloween, Oakwood Cemetery hosts a spooky event at the cemetery at 763 Portage Road.
Last year it was “Spirits with the Spirits.” This year it is a “Spirits Faire.”
There will be spirit tastings, cider tastings, food truck, psychic readings, vendors, a cash bar, tours, live music and raffles.
Tickets are $20 advance sale at www.oakwoodniagara.org.
This is a shame ... I spent many years on this rink ... Horrible
Partly Cloudy , with a high of 72 and low of 52 degrees. Overcast in the morning, sunny for the afternoon, clear in the evening, overcast overnight.
Focus, Joe. This is about Hyde Park Ice Pavilion, nothing else. We have been making up the difference of $1.4 M since 2013.
Funny thing, I’d bet about 90% of the children do not live in the city of NF that are playing hockey there
Not so sure about 90%, but those tournaments which target the out of towners spend a pretty penny when they're here between lodging and meals during the off season. Hockey is arguably the most expensive sport to play and the parents of kids on these travel teams are generally pretty well off.
