ASSAULT: A man reported he picked up two women on 19th Street to “drive around” and when he parked in a lot to go to the bathroom he was advised his phone flashlight was on. A man thought he was recording and punched him in the face. He drove to the hospital for treatment. Something else was going on here but who knows?
MENACING: At about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, a visitor stepped off the Over The Falls tour bus and was immediately confronted by a homeless man who threatened him with a knife and then ran away and dropped the weapon near bushes adjacent to Hard Rock Cafe. The suspect was located nearby by police and charged with menacing. The knife was recovered. The suspect was charged with menacing.
OBSTRUCTING AND RESISTING: A suspect adjacent to an arson fire on 19th Street was approached by police but rather than talking, ran away at about 6:06 p.m. Tuesday after officers saw a knife in his hoodie. He was chased down, taken into custody with force and charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
