TRESPASSING: A well-known homeless panhandler was arrested at 11:38 Tuesday morning after harassing customers outside DiCamillo’s on Linwood from where he was banned. Earlier this week, the same panhandler, known for standing in Whirlpool Street as well as Main Street was inside DiCamillo’s where a well-meaning patron was attempting to buy him a sandwich. The staff refused surface on the past knowledge that the suspect was banned from the restaurant and is known to sell food so he can have money for crack.
DOOR DASH THEFT: An apartment renter at 4600 Hyde Park Blvd. reported at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday she received a photo of a Door Dash delivery including 12 items valued at $25.86. Someone stole it before she could retrieve it.
THEFT: The owners of a building at Pine Avenue and 21st Street were working on plumbing earlier this week and on Wednesday discovered someone has entered the basement of the building and stolen copper pipe and tools valued at more than $5,000.
