TRAFFIC STOP: A 36-year-old Kentucky man was charged with operating without insurance and no registration at 5:34 p.m. Friday outside the Como Restaurant on Pine Avenue.
SUBJECT WITH A GUN: Police were called to the area of 765 19th St. at about 9:25 p.m. Friday for a report of a man with a gun. Police saw the suspect, with a blanket wrapped around him, and ordered him to put his hands up. The 30-year-old Grand Avenue resident dropped the blanket and fled through backyards. Eventually, with the assistance of other officers, the suspect was taken into custody and charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
TRAFFIC STOP: Police on patrol at 5:22 p.m. Saturday on Niagara Street when they observed a white Ford known to have switched plates and executed a traffic stop. A 38-year-old 22nd Street resident was charged with no inspection, no signals/flashers/operating an unregistered vehicle, no insurance, aggravated unlicensed operation and improper plates.
