Potpourri for a Wednesday

How long does James Earl Jones have to be dead before we stop hearing his voice on Arby’s radio commercials? We have the "over-processed artificially flavored salted" beed.

Great innovation from Subaru. The windshield washer fluid reservoir holds a full gallon. No more having 6 ounces left in a gallon jug.

That reminds me: An auto store clerk said he was recruited to work in the new O’Reilly Autoparts store on Pine Avenue in the old Rite Aid. “I had coffee with him and listened but I couldn’t imagine feeling safe there. I wonder if they will have an armed guard.” That is a very typical, and misplaced attitude even if Little Italy could use some love.

I stopped at a Rite Aid recently and found the shelves barren. Apparently, the pharmacy’s supply chain has been interrupted by bankruptcy.

Spoke recently to Bekah Carey about Judas Tree. The tapas bar has been shut down since November because of a plumbing issue but hopes to reopen soon.

For that matter, The Como has now had 3 reopening dates come and go next promise is spring.

Had an ordering nightmare from Taste of Nepal Sunday. Found their menu online and tried to order. It would not take. Called to place the order and was sent a link to a Website. Placed the order. Beth went to pick up the food. They never received the order but found it when they looked. She waited, and they made it quickly, and our food was excellent. They sent her on her way with a palmcard promoting ordering at goodluckrestaurantny.com. Just a thought, but shouldn’t a phone call have brought me there?
