McDermott knows
I watched Sean McDermott’s press appearance on Youtube and loved his recollection of 2017. Deonte Thompson played one season with the Bills under Doug Marrone in 2014. He was back in 2017 for 21 catches on 51 targets, 430 yards and one importance TD against the Colts in the snow. Here’s what McDermott said about warming up pregame, trying to be sure Thompson was ready to go that stuck to me:
“He’s yelling to me ‘Palm trees coaches,’ you know because we had talked about the palm trees that grow around here because, maybe you guys don’t see them, but they’re all over the place.” I thought about that and wondered. Does Kevyn Adams remember?

Cozens to the Flames?
Here’s a fun story from the Calgary Herald speculating about a Sabres/Flames trade involving Dylan Cozens.
