Short Take Politics
President visits Africa
Lost in the maelstrom of outrage last week as President Biden pardoned his son Hunter was a visit to Africa where the G7 countries are supporting economic development on the world’s fastest growing continent. Canada stands tall
Nothing says “I’m an insecure bully” like referring to Canada as the 51st State and Prime Minister Trudeau as “governor.” Still, in the face of the president-elect's threats, Canada is threatening to, among other things, cut electrical and oil exports. The electric could have a devastating impact on the economy in New York and Michigan as well as the price of gas since Canada is our largest nondomestic supplier.
