CEO shooter gives pause

I was just reading about the CEO shooter. What a story. It seems that he was at the pinnacle of life, as he had an affluent family and was a graduate student.
Many people are incredulous that he would undertake such an action. From those who knew him, he was praised for his kindness, empathy, and superior intelligence.
Now, currently charged with the crime of murder. We all know or should know that the healthcare system in this country is a billion dollar enterprise.
The absence of free health care in this country is a mystery. He had debilitating back trouble for years and possibly the health system let him or others he knew down.
Really, that gives no excuse for murder, but I understand those who support him.
