Niagara Falls Police Blotter

SHOPLIFTER: A Falls cop moonlighting as Target security was alerted to a suspected shoplifter at about 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. A 26-year-old 71st Street resident was arrested on a charge of petit larceny for allegedly failing to pay for merchandise valued at about $117 including perfume, tampons, skincare products and perfume.
WARRANT: Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Ashland Avenue for a report of a subject with a gun at about 3:47 p.m. Tuesday. They observed a male matching the provided description and ordered him to the ground. He complied. No gun was found but the 26-year-old 23rd Street resident was detained on a warrant from Cheektowaga.
TRESPASSING: Police were called to 7/11 on Niagara Falls Boulevard for a report of an unwanted patron at about 5:14 p.m. Tuesday. A North Tonawanda man, 30, was refusing to leave the store. He was arrested on a charge of trespassing.
