Police, State shut down pot shops

(Niagara Falls, New York) After a three-month investigation into the unlicensed Smoke Shops owned and operated by Lawrence Roy Humphrey (DOB 04-30-1975), the New York State Police, New York State Office of Cannabis Management, New York State Office of Taxation and the Niagara Falls Police Narcotics Intelligence Division executed three state search warrants Tuesday August 27th at the following locations:

1. Something Serious Smoke Shop,
   1100 Connecting Rd, Niagara Falls, New York
2. First Class Cannabis, 3256 Hyde Park Blvd, Niagara Falls, New York
3. 3057 Lincoln St, Niagara Falls, New York (residence of Lawrence R. Humphrey)

An extremely large amount of cannabis, cannabis edibles and cannabis vape cartridges were seized at all the locations. The NYS Office of Cannabis Management stated that this was one of the largest seizures to date.

Lawrence Humphrey will be charged in Niagara County Court, fined by NYS Office of Cannabis Management and the NYS Office of Taxation after all seized evidence has been processed.

The Niagara Falls Police Narcotics Intelligence Division will continue to cooperate and work with the above listed agencies in the attempt to shut down the illegal Cannabis shops operating
