National Night Out Tonight

The Garden and Highland Community Block Club is hosting National Night Out tonight, an event held annually on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out aims to foster camaraderie and mutual trust between police and the community.

This event provides a positive platform for police officers and neighbors to connect. It also offers an excellent opportunity for county legislature members, assemblymen, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, emergency responders, government officials, and civic agencies to engage with residents, building relationships that contribute to a safer and more caring community.

Hotdogs, chips, fruit, snacks, and drinks, along with great music will be shared, in addition to a bounce house and basketball games. The event will feature a short program with guest speakers.

The block club invites businesses, churches and civic agencies to participate by distributing information about services.
