Somehow, she’s been memed and marginalized, given little to do and then blamed for doing nothing. It’s like Hillary multiplied by Black. Even more troubling, her Republican equivalent has no record. NPR publishes a list noting where Senators and Representatives stand. This is the issue with not being able to ostracize critics who don’t march in lockstep with your nonspecific rhetoric. If the Democrats can coalesce around a strong candidate it would be great, but no matter what, it is hard to compete with populist lies. Inflation is not the highest ever. We are again respected on the world stage. Violent crime is approaching historic lows. The economy is soaring. The Republican candidate keeps spouting the opposite in some sort of dystopian play written by the ghost of George Orwell.
