DOGBITE: A boy dropped off by his bus on Grand Avenue was attacked by a pair of pitbull-like dogs at about 12:30 p.m. last Thursday. Police investigated. The boy suffered minor leg wounds. The dogs were unlicensed with shots out of date. Billie Ray Baxley, 47, of 2250 Grand Ave. and Paul Parker, 44, of 820 Chilton Avenue were both charged with possessing unlicensed dogs and allowing them to run at large. The victim’s father said the dogs are always loose “terrorizing the neighborhood.”

VEHICLE FIRE: An F150 caught fire near 9200 Niagara Falls Blvd. at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.

STOLEN CAR: A casino patrol reported at about 3:17 p.m. Friday someone stole her Honda from the parking ramp. She may have left a spare key inside.

TRESPASSING: Justin Gabby, 35, of 820 Willow Avenue was taken into custody at about 5:42 p.m. Friday after he allegedly trespassed at the American Legion on Niagara Avenue.

SHOPLIFTING: Police were called to Walmart for a report of shoplifting. Melissa Hendrix, 47, of Lockport and Elexis Rodriguez, 25, of Medina were arrested. Hendrix was charged with burglary, grand larceny and trespassing. She allegedly attempted to take items valued at more than $1,100 and violated a lifetime store ban. Rodriguez allegedly took 3 stuffed animals and was charged with petit larceny.

BURGLARY: A resident of the 700 block of 8th Street reported Friday she had an argument with her boyfriend and left to avoid escalation. When she returned Friday, she discovered the apartment trashed with furniture flipped and windows pushed out.

DIRT BIKE: Police were called to 62nd Street Saturday around 2 p.m. for a report of dirtbikes and ATVs racing. They caught Tyler O’Callaghan, 33, of 130 70th St. and seized a 2013 Suzuki. O’Callaghan was charged with operating an ATV on a street, no plate lamp, no plate, no rearview mirror, inadequate lights, no insurance, no registration, no inspection and no headlight.

SHOPLIFTING: Loss prevention staff at Walmart detained Lasheena Smith, 40, of 637 6th St. at about 9:30 a.m. after she allegedly failed to scan items valued in excess of $200 at the self-checkout. Smith was charged with petit larceny and banned from the store.

GARMIN TAKEN: A Garmin GPS was taken from a vehicle parked on Marine Memorial Drive at about 4:20 a.m. Sunday.

PETIT LARCENY: Marth Chilcote, 56, of 821 11th St. was charged with petit larceny after allegedly attempting to leave Tops on Portage Road without paying for items valued at $46.

TRESPASSING: Police responded to a report of a trespasser at 90 Cedar St. 4:50 a.m. Monday and took Kyle Lorence, 58, homeless, tried to flee the scene but was captured and charged with trespassing.
