PETIT LARCENY: A 16th St. resident reported the theft of power tools valued at $600 from his vehicle in the Thursday/Friday overnight. He may have left it unlocked.

PETIT LARCENY: A 17th Street resident reported someone stole tools from his vehicle in the Thursday/Friday overnight. The items were valued at $400 or so. He may have left it unlocked.

BURGLARY: An Old Falls Street resident reported someone pushed in his air conditioner sometime early Friday morning, forced entry to his apartment and stole an assortment of video games and equipment valued in excess of $1300.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE: A plate reader alerted police to a suspended registration on a vehicle being driven on Portage Road at about 11:40 a.m. Friday. Anthony Ferguson, 22, of Buffalo, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and driving with a suspended registration.

ATTEMPTED ARSON: Police visited the 1500 block of Pierce Avenue early Friday morning when a resident observe a gas can with a white rag sticking out in his yard.

LARCENY: A Hyde Park Boulevard resident called police early Friday morning to report a suspected burglary. The report narrative left the impression the victim may be in some state of mental decline.

DOG DISPUTE: A confusing narrative over a problem with a do was reported from A Street at about 8 p.m. Friday. Kyliek Bembo, 26, of A Street was charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief.

LARCENY: A man working on Hyde Park Boulevard reported he left his work jacket on his vehicle Thursday morning and someone stole it. Items taken included, keys and a wallet containing credit cards and personal ID.

VEHICLE SHOT: The owner of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of the 19th Street alley reported someone shot his vehicle in the Thursday/Friday overnight.

PASSPORTS TAKEN: A vehicle parked outside Quality Inn was entered sometime during the day Saturday. Passports were taken.

SMASHED TAIL LIGHT: A 61st Street resident reported sometime late Saturday night someone smashed a tail light on his vehicle.

DWI: Police were called to A Street for a report of a vehicle hitting a tree. They found Aaron Smith, 27, of Buffalo, passed out at the wheel. He was uncooperative with field sobriety tests and offered little explanation for his condition or where he was.

He was charged with DWI 1st, Refusal to take a breath test and moving from a lane unsafely.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Falls Street resident reported sometime between Friday and Sunday, someone forced entry to his vehicle and rummaged through the contents. Damage was estimated at $100.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police were called to the area of Rapids Bowling Centre at about 7:40 p.m. Sunday where a group of females was said to be fighting. They had been cut off from eating and drinking. Mariah Rodriguez, 23, of Willow Avenue, was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a bench and a door.

MORE ARREST: In addition to Rodriguez, police arrested DaJona Bermudez, 23, of Whitney Ave. on a charge of disorderly conduct/fighting.
