SHOPLIFTER: Police investigated a report of a shoplifter at Family Dollar at about 1:30 Friday after a pair of males entered the store, loaded an unknown quantity of merchandise into garbage cans, and fled the scene.

NO INSURANCE: Officers on Stop DWI patrol on Lewiston Road were alerted to a suspended registration for insurance not in effect at 6:20 p.m. Friday. Miranda Butkowski, 24, of 1458 Byrd Ave. Apt. 3 was charged with no insurance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

SHOPLIFTING: At about 6:20 p.m. Friday police were called to Hyde Park Family Dollar for a reported shoplifting incident. Shaquana Jones, 30, was charged with petit larceny after she was located several blocks from the store carrying items valued at more than $60.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Police were called to Seneca Niagara Casino for a report of a dispute at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday. Johnasia Ridgeway, 22, of 4600 Hyde Park Blvd. Apt. 24 allegedly refused numerous requests to walk away and said to police “you’re a bitch and I will fuck you up. . . you bitch.” She was charged with disorderly conduct/fighting/violent behavior.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: At about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, police were called to Seneca Niagara Casino for an unruly patron. Rayana Jiminez, 29, was charged with disorderly conduct/fighting/violent behavior.

LOOSE DOG: A resident of the 600 block of 20th Street reported her dog got loose at about 11:30 Saturday morning. A neighbor told officers a passerby scooped up the tan and white pitbull and drove away. The dogowner said she would check the SPCA.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE: Officers on patrol in the 1600 block of Ontario Avenue interacted with a vehicle missing its front plate. Patrick Powell, 44, of 742 8th St. told police he just purchased the vehicle and was transporting it. He was charged with rating with operating with a single plate, improper plates, no insurance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

DWI: Police came upon an accident scene near 700 3rd Street and encountered Carleton Mack, 38, of 2401 South Ave. at about 3:13 a.m. Sunday. A utility pole was fractured. Mack told police he was drinking and driving and had been at Player’s Bar. He failed field sobriety tests and blew a .22% BAC. He was charged with DWI, failure to use a designated lane and aggravated DWI per se.

GRAND LARCENY: Someone smashed a car window in the 500 block of 8th Street and stole $1,000 in cash and Samsung earbuds valued at $150 at about 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

SHOPLIFTING: Douglas Roberts, 43, homeless was charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking laundry soap from Portage Road Family Dollar at about 10:40 a.m. Sunday.

PETIT LARCENY: A car left unlocked Sunday in the parking lot of the Buffalo Avenue Doubletree was entered. Sunglasses and a wallet were taken.

ROBBERY: Shaquana Jones, 30, of 2478 Willow Ave. Niagara Falls was charged with robbery, petit larceny, assault and harassment after allegedly taking soap from Hyde Park Boulevard Family Dollar.
