(Niagara Falls, New York) On Thursday, February 15, 2024, the Niagara Falls Police Department Narcotics Intelligence Division conducted a Search Warrant at 1516 22nd Street.
The NFPD Emergency Response Team assisted by making entry into the residence and securing the interior and exterior. Niagara Falls
City Inspections also responded to assess the building. A quantity of pills and Suboxone strips were collected inside the building. Criminal charges will be pending following a report from the Niagara County Crime Lab.
PURSE TAKEN: An employee in the ER at Niagara Falls Memorial reported the theft of her purse from a work locker sometime during the day Thursday. A credit card was used multiple times.
FOUND WALLET: A resident who would not give his name or accept a receipt turned in a wallet at police headquarters containing $1,000, a military ID, a license and credit cards.
UHAUL TOWED: A vehicle left locked and blocking Frontier Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday was towed from the scene.
CAR STOLEN: A man reported the theft of a Ford Taurus from a Whitney Avenue address at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. The victim said the car belonged to his late brother who left all his possessions to him.
SHOPLIFTING: Cory Cox, 35, of 2263 Falls St. was charged with petit larceny at about 8:45 Wednesday after he allegedly took dog food and Pringles valued at $38.22 from Easy Home on Portage Road.
MENACING: A man traveling on Ferry Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday reported another motorist brandished a gun at him.
TOWED: An abandoned Buick rental car was towed from Stephenson Avenue where it was blocking the driving lane at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
