SHOPLIFTER: A manager at Boot Barn reported a shoplifter took boots and clothing valued at $460 from the Military Road store at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

GRAND LARCENY: A Pierce Avenue resident in the 1800 block reported someone entered his vehicle and took his wallet containing credit cards and ID sometime in the Thursday overnight.

BURGLARY: A resident of the 2000 block of Grand Avenue reported the theft of a television valued at $1,800 sometime during the day Thursday. Police believe access was gained to a sun porch through an unlocked window.

SMASH AND GRAB: A visitor to Old Main Street reported someone smashed a window on her rental car at about 3 p.m. Thursday and stole her daughter’s school backpack.

SUSPICIOUS MAN: A man approached a child playing with a football 1200 block of 93rd Street at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday and made the boy’s parent and boyfriend uncomfortable by asking too many questions.
