ITEMS RECOVERED: A guest staying at 200 Rainbow Blvd. reported the overnight Friday theft of items valued at $1,600 from his vehicle. Police recovered the items nearby.

SHOT FIRED: An argument ended with a shot fired outside 7/11 on Buffalo Avenue about 10 p.,. Friday. Suspects were gone from the scene when police arrived.

STOLEN VEHICLE: A resident of the 400 block of 78th Street reported someone stole his Toyota Highlander on the Friday/Saturday overnight after he left it unlocked with a key inside.

CARS SEARCHED: A Van Rensselaer Avenue resident reported someone rifled through the contents of their unlocked vehicle. Nothing was taken. It happened on the Friday/Saturday overnight.

SHOTS HEARD: Multiple people heard shots fired on the 700 block of 15th Street at about 9 p.m. Saturday but police could locate neither evidence nor suspect.

BURGLARY: A worked was summoned to the Maid of the Mist warehouse on Tomson Avenue after a motion alarm was sounded. A worker responded to the scene at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He saw a suspect fleeing the scene and gave chase, videoing with his phone. Police responded and investigated. Nothing was reported taken. The window was valued at $1,500.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE: Police stopped a vehicle traveling in the 800 block of Niagara Avenue at about 8:40 a.m. Saturday for traveling 47 in a 35. William Sanders, 74, of 6011 Devlin Ave. Niagara Falls was charged with speeding, no inspection, driving with a suspended registration and no insurance.

STOLEN MONEY: A resident of a women’s shelter reported sometime between Wednesday and Friday someone took $120 in cash from her room.

WINDOW BROKEN: Someone threw a rock through a window in the 1000 block of 19th Street at about 6 a.m. Monday.
