The Niagara Beautification Commission does a lot of good. One of its biggest annual events is the annual Spring cleanup. Show up early Saturday morning at Power City Eatery or the Casino, 8 a.m. or so, and help out.
Understand as well, that James Abbondonza and friends make a difference and have a presence in our community.
Recently, NBC presented an award to brother and sister Josh and Bekah Carey who opened Judas Tree an Aperitivo Bar located at 1507 Pine Avenue in March 2021.
Judas Tree has become one of our favorite places to visit. I had a remarkable experience this week – Tequila Tuesday at Gold Bar (it might have been a Morgarita) and a Margarita off the menu at Judas Tree produces an almost identical cocktail – identical glasses, with salt on half the rim, and no sugar bomb like most of the Mexican restaurants that give you a slushy but a delicious rocks cocktail
Anyway, as Abbondonza writes it, together with family and friends, Josh and Bekah turned a long-vacant building and empty lot into an oasis with beautiful hanging gardens, a variety of colorful flower pots lining the outdoor Bocce Courts and outdoor bar. Be sure to come and support this family and try their delicious tapas and a variety of delicious unique cocktails and drinks.
Visit Gold Bar on a Tuesday, and Judas Tree whenever. Compare the Margaritas. Let me know what you think.
