SHOPLIFTING: A previously trespassed Tops visitor at 3 p.m. Sunday was observed attempting to leave the Portage Road store without paying for goods valued at $89.39. The Pine Avenue resident was charged with petit larceny and burglary.
SPARK SHOPPERS: Police were called to Walmart where two Spark Shoppers were observed concealing goods under their order at about 5:39 Sunday. Asset protection staff observed the activity, approached the suspects and charged the suspects, residents of Haeberle Avenue and Porter Road with petit larceny.
PETIT LARCENY: Police were called to Sam’s Club at 8:04 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shoplifter. The suspect in question, according to employees of Sam’s and Marshall’s had already fled. A different suspect was seen walking toward Marshall’s attempting to remove a Sam’s tag from an allegedly stolen sweatshirt. Police approached that suspect and took him into custody following a brief struggle. They charged the Vermont resident with petit larceny and resisting arrest.
