Council returns tonight

The Niagara Falls City Council returns tonight at 6 p.m. with pregame festivities at 4:45 p.m. where the committee of the whole will hear Vincent Cauley complain he still doesn’t have answers on the GIVE grant. Bridgette Myles will support his dissent.

At about 6:45 p.m. after citizens rant and rave over agenda items, councilmembers Brian Archie, Jim Perry and David Zajac will vote to approve the GIVE grant.

The stonewalling of ancillary paving and mowing by Myles and Cauley was circumvented by a State of Emergency declared by Mayor Robert Restaino which was extended for 5 days via executive order.
