Owl Prowl
Every time I see an event like this it is sold out before I can sign up.
If you’ve never been on an owl prowl, here’s how it works.
You gather with a bunch of people in a dark place and learn about owls which are beautiful nocturnal predators.
Then, either with a call device, or electronics, the leader makes owl noises. If present, the predator returns the calls, hoping to either get some love or defend territory.
As time goes on, the owl returns call and comes closer to investigate. Eventually, it rests on a tree branch, everyone shines a flashlight and it is cool.
If it doesn’t work out, it’s a cold walk in the woods on a dark night. Still not bad but less exciting. If you want to participate, here’s a chance. Please join su. It is free. 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. It is free.

More importantly the parents of Gaskill students have not been directly engaged to discuss this matter and it's been almost a month now.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 54 and low of 32 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Overcast for the morning, patchy rain nearby in the afternoon, overcast during the evening,
Thanks for covering this event. Maybe next time I will send you a drone picture of all 200 of us, and you can then post that.
Does anyone know the proper process in Niagara Falls, NY for getting bulk trash or debris removed from a private yard? I’m trying to figure out who handles it and what steps residents are supposed to follow.
I would say organize a group of people to address the property you are concerned about and bring it to the curb on May 9, the annual Niagara Beautification Commission cleanup. Casella will pick it up.
